The Media Coordinator responsibility is to provide support to the Media Ministry through careful planning, diligently completing admin tasks, and assisting with the planning of events. The Media Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and maintaining relationships with the volunteers, working alongside the Marketing Director in the communication of events, preparing the event slides, and helping to oversee creating clear lines of communication through social media + app platforms.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and maintain relationships with volunteers
  • Creatively put together the slides for events/celebrations for Kaka’ako and Windward
  • Communicate with the Marketing Director to assist in the communication of events
  • Helping to oversee the app and social media
  • Attend and run slides during celebrations/events
  • Communicating Media Ministry needs 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Weekly track and communicate online views to admin
  • Meet with Media Director and Marketing Director to figure out needs for the ministry
  • Maintain the Media Team calendar: Communicating Media Team trainings, events, and fellowship gatherings
  • Schedule volunteers for weekend celebrations and fill in for missing positions when required, schedule photographers for events, schedule people for video shoots
  • Create Baptism certificates for church-wide baptisms/Easter  
  • Help with the creation of reels and posts for church-wide events
  • Organize files in Proclaim and prepare slides for celebrations, events, and monthly gatherings (YA, Worship Nights, Prayer Meetings, Women’s, Halau, etc…)
  • Organize photos and videos in the Google Drive/photos


  • Occasionally help with the creation of reels and sermon clips
  • Assist in the creation of slides when Marketing Director is unavailable
  • Attend meetings to help with the planning of events
  • Assist in planning annual Media Team party, M&M Conference, and Huddles
