Congratulations! We want to be the first to welcome you to God’s family!

We have assembled a short series of resources that will encourage you to learn more about your new identity in Christ and help you connect with a group in the church that will help you grow in your faith.

The Bible is God’s story of redemption for his people, given to us freely, by grace, through Jesus Christ. The Bible says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9). God’s forgiveness is free for the taking, but it was not cheap.

When you truly understand, you are deeply loved and accepted by God, through faith in Jesus, it is the most empowering truth you will ever encounter.

A supernatural transformation happened when you accepted Christ as your savior. Your Spirit resurrected from the dead, and you were transferred from the Kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of light. Now, your real identity is hidden in Christ Jesus. It is essential to know that your new identity is secure in Christ and to begin to discover your identity in Him. No longer are you bound to the shackles of sinful past! You are a new creation; the old has passed away, and you now have the power to walk righteously.

Just as the Apostle Paul encourages new believers to learn more of God, we encourage you to put effort into your new relationships with God and discover the joy of your new life in Christ. Each week we will provide you with a helpful resource to encourage your faith so you can grow in your new relationship with Christ.

May God bless you on your new journey!

Have you heard of the Bible Project?

Reading your Bible is essential to spiritual growth and maturity. Before diving in, you may want to take a moment to learn more about how the books are assembled, key themes in the Bible, or chapter summaries.

The Bible Project is a great way for new believers to learn about the Bible. For example, in the book of Ephesians, the Apostle Paul wrote a letter to a group of new believers living in a pagan metropolis. This manuscript is divided into two sections:

  1. The Gospel story of God’s redemptive plan to unify all things under Christ, and;
  2. Practical ways to live in light of this new knowledge and understanding.

We hope this short video will help you understand the importance of knowing sound doctrine and walking out your faith.
