Our calling is a Christ-centered outreach focused on building relationships, sharing food, and loving our houseless neighbors in the Kaka‘ako area.  We are also called to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, for “there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved”(Acts 4:12).

The ministry name ‘Entertaining Angels’ comes from Hebrews 13:2, where it is written that some have unknowingly entertained angels when showing hospitality to strangers.

Special Announcement:

We are looking for some One Lovers to sign-up to cook for our Entertaining Angels ministry. Whether it’s once per a month, one time, or a few times a year, we’d love to have your help. Normally about 40-50 people are served per weekend. What we do in this ministry is go out each Saturday afternoon to Kaka’ako Park. We get to serve our houseless neighbors with a warm meal and we also use the opportunity to get to know them and share Jesus’ love. If you’re interested in coming to serve with us, you’re invited to do that, too! We meet at Koinonia Hale at 3:45pm eachSaturday. WE’ve had both small groups and individuals sign up to cook, so please pray about your involvement in this ministry. Cooking and serving a meal is an important part of the ministry as it helps bring people together. With volunteers from our church to help, the task of cooking is a lot more manageable, as many hands make light work! Please contact ministry below if you’re interested in joining us in the park, have questions, or would like to schedule a date to cook.
